Murderer —
Serial killer —
Mass murderer —
Airborne —
Creator —
Massacre — Резня
Genocide —
Uncharted territory —
Faraday Malfunction —
Inverse teleportation —
Pacifist —
Extinction —
KEYPRESS(#E)
WAIT(0.5)

Yeah, there’s lore.
I think.
In this lore guide, I try to explain something that might just be a chunk of speculation on the matter.
It can potentially explain secrets that were once unexplainable.
Let’s get to it.

The title of this section tries to explain the loose tile, which will help this theory incredibly.
In some maps, I think it keeps changing, because it used to be in blocks, sea, and then it was in tower and it may have changed again.
But in the map, there would most likely be a loose tile which can be exposed by spawning a bunch of bombs (Dynamite or nukes) and activating them all at once, it should be exposed.
The tile from the background will fall off and reveal pipes and wires, according to a video I saw, it revealed a blueprint of a secret teleportation device. (More on that later.)
The Midnight TV, suggested by many in the comments. Thanks to Neutral_64bit, I think I can come up with an idea.
At 12:00 PM exact, when you turn the television item on, it suddenly goes haywire. Red text appears on the screen telling you to «WAKE UP.» And that «IT IS DAWN.» It suddenly cuts to a clip of a grainy black and white footage. Neutral_64bit said it was a dutch video of a nuclear plant/something with industrial importance. Perhaps it ties into the entire mechanic items? Maybe it was a factory?
.
Factory.
The Midnight TV, according to Neutral, had footage of, according to me, a factory.
This section of the lore tries to explain the background sounds and ambiance.
The bangs and crashes can be heard while playing the game.
It could just be ambiance,
.
Or
.
It could be nearby chambers making some loud crashes,
other people making more noise,
like you,
setting off a nuke,
making a noise,
for the rest to hear.
The abyss map is a large T-shaped map, nothing seems out of the ordinary.
. Is what the map wants you to think.
When I was discovering what was up with this out of the ordinary map, and I figured out a few things.
At the very bottom of the pit, I heard strange humming noises and mechanical-
.
humming noises? Mechanical sounds?
Why in all places would I hear a strange and mysterious humming noise?
Later in the track, I heard a loud sounding, perhaps even a scream. Soon, I would hear another.
Then, later, I thought I heard gears turning. But why?
Whatever it is, it could be coming from the voi-
This section tries to explain the uncharted territory achievement, because it might have lore implications.
_________________________________________________________________
To unlock the uncharted territory achievement, you have to
This is the conclusion, everything I discussed put into context.
The ambiance, the secret achievement, The Factory, the Void, everything points to the conclusion:
We are in a gigantic facility, possibly bigger than the entire planet, simulating a sandbox.
Every map is another simulation your simulating.
Thousands upon thousands of people that play the game use up another part of the facility, every map is another section of the facility, from blocks, to pit, to default, to anything, you use up another giant part of the even larger facility which contains all the maps.
The ambiance is another player messing around in the map.
The factory, it’s where your items have been given to you. The factory made everything for you. You can play what was given to you, you make the machines for the others to use.
The void is no map, for it is what’s in-between of the maps. Once someone falls, they’re on a journey to fall down ten thousand miles or more, just falling down, the last things they’ll see are the maps they were once in, the sandbox maps they were in and abused in.
The secret map, the uncharted territory map, it could be the exit to the facility, you created a portal to the exit of the facility where grass grows.
You let the subjects, the humans the androids the gorse, outside.
You gave freedom to the ones you tortured.
And that might be the ending of a sandbox game.

The uncharted territory is a secret ‘map’ obtained via making the uncharted territory portal posibly exclusively inside the humongous map.
The map itself is a long hallway with detailed alarm lights flashing red, and two radios around the end of said hallway. The use of these objects has not been found.
To access the map you will have to create the structure that i call the uncharted territory portal, which to make you must put a few objects in a specific order that would be better explained as an image.
Once you have entered the dimension/map, you will get the achievement «Uncharted territory» which currently 4.0% of the community has.

People Playground?
Error?

Uncharted Territory is the second episode of Season 2 and the twenty-eighth episode of Code Lyoko.
Contents
Aelita has a nightmare, one which has been recurring ever since she was materialized on Earth a few days ago.
Jeremie does some investigating on the Internet about the Hermitage, and after a night of hacking, he finds the deed to the house, signed by Franz Hopper. He also finds out that there used to be a science teacher at Kadic Academy with the same name, and wonders if they’re the same person. Ulrich thinks it’s likely, but Jeremie wants to be sure and suggests checking Kadic’s archives. Jeremie further suggests a connection between the Hermitage and the equipment in the Factory, and Lyoko too.
Aelita goes to the bathroom for a shower, only to find a long queue outside. It turns out that Sissi is occupying the bathroom and making everyone wait, which apparently happens a lot at Kadic. Sissi notices Aelita and tells her that with such a long queue, she might be waiting for a few hours, but adds that upstairs there are showers with no girls at all.
Aelita goes upstairs to the shower room, but it turns out that Sissi has played a cruel trick on her; it is the boys’ shower room. Ulrich and Odd gently escort her out, and find Sissi, Herb, and Nicholas there, watching and making nasty remarks. Ulrich gets angry at Sissi for playing such a trick on Aelita, when she knows fully well that Aelita will easily fall for such things. Sissi doesn’t appear to care. To make things worse, Jim tells Aelita off for trying to enter the boys’ shower room and she will be punished if she does something like that again.
Aelita meets up with Yumi and tells her about the recurring nightmares. Yumi assures her that it’s just because she’s not used to living on Earth since she’s only been here for less than a week and everything will be just fine, she’ll just have to get used to everything.
Meanwhile, Jeremie sneaks into a room to check Kadic’s archives, while Ulrich and Odd keep watch. He finds a document signed by the teacher Franz Hopper and compares the signature with the one on the deed to the Hermitage; they match, proving that they are the same person.
Jeremie, Odd, and Ulrich then visit the Hermitage. Jeremie, searching on a bookshelf, finds a book about the Punic Wars and Carthage, which they studied in history class last year. They find numerous notes and marked passages inside the book. Jeremie decides to take the book back to school with him.
At Kadic, Aelita is on her own in the cafeteria, trying to get lunch, but is unfamiliar with the workings of a cafeteria. Rosa asks her what she would like for breakfast but Aelita can’t decide. Behind her, other students waiting in line are getting impatient, and complain at her but they stop once Rosa makes a scornful look at them and is surprised when Aelita disappears from the line, having given up. For a moment, she is relieved as she sees Yumi, but when she notices that Yumi is interested in sitting with William at her table, Aelita gives up and goes outside.
She meets Sissi outside the entrance, who starts being unkind to Aelita again, suggesting that she return up north. Aelita, distressed, tells Sissi that at least she’d feel at home there, and runs away into the woods.
In science class, Mrs. Hertz notices that Aelita is not present, alerting Jeremie, Ulrich, and Odd to this too. Sissi tells them that Aelita has gone back to Canada, and recounts their last exchange. Jeremie pretends to be ill and asks to go to the infirmary, and Ulrich and Odd volunteer to accompany him. After exiting the classroom, Jeremie quickly figures out exactly where Aelita must have gone; she has returned to Lyoko. They all race to the Factory with Yumi.
On Lyoko, Aelita has virtualized herself into the Forest Sector, but finds herself under attack by a Blok. Jeremie sends Ulrich, Odd, and Yumi to Lyoko, where they find themselves under separate attack by two Krabs. They battle, trying to get to Aelita, but encounter heavy resistance. Jeremie then sends them their vehicles. Meanwhile in the other part of the sector, another Blok appears in front of Aelita and she is forced to take an alternate way by jumping and grabbing a platform on her left. As Odd, Ulrich and Yumi continue to look for Aelita, she reaches the Forest Sector’s edge. Without any way to escape Aelita realizes she is trapped by those Bloks. Unexpectedly, a white orb with the eye of X.A.N.A. on it appears out of nowhere and engulfs Aelita. Jeremie loses touch with her; she has completely disappeared from his detectors. Yumi panics, fearing that Aelita has been killed by her attackers, but Jeremie thinks it isn’t that. He finds that she has disappeared from the sector, and has actually disappeared completely from Lyoko.
Aelita leaves the orb and finds herself in a blue, spherical room. An opening appears in the wall and she walks through it to explore, but is harassed by slug-like monsters called Creepers. She runs in the corridor into a huge room where she encounters some more Creepers and a huge monster with many tentacles: the Scyphozoa.
The remaining three on Lyoko continue to be attacked as Jeremie figures out what has happened. Jeremie discovers a fifth sector of Lyoko, one that they didn’t know about before. Figuring that Aelita must be there, he tries to figure out how to get there and finds he needs a code.
Ulrich tells Jeremie to hurry up, as the attack on Lyoko is getting fierce. Jeremie guesses that the code is related to the historical city of Carthage, and looks in the book he took from the Hermitage for words that might be the code. After trying many and failing, he thinks about it logically. To enter the city of Carthage, one must first conquer it. He finds the name of the person who conquered Carthage, and enters it as the code: SCIPIO.
The white orb appears again on Lyoko, prompting the Hornets to retreat. It engulfs Ulrich, Odd, and Yumi, and carries them through the forest at high speed into a white void where many of the wires that run through the forest converge.
The orb travels through a dizzying arrangement of moving walls and arrives in what appears to be the same room Aelita arrived in. The three leave the orb and go to search for Aelita. They find her being attacked by the Scyphozoa, which Jeremie finds is stealing her memories. They attack it until it releases her.
The walls begin to close around them, and Jeremie tells them to hurry back. They return back to the Arena, and Jeremie calls the Transport Orb again to return them to the Forest Sector. Aelita enters a tower so she can be materialized there, while Jeremie manually materializes the other three directly from Lyoko.
Back on Earth, Aelita apologizes for running away. The others comfort her, letting her know that they understand how difficult it is for her. Ulrich and Yumi also express their will to go back to Sector Five, but Jeremie reminds them that they still need to study it thoroughly. Soon afterwards, Sissi comes to gloat, and Aelita surprises everyone by countering with an insult of her own.
Trivia
The cover of the book adaptation.
- The original French name for this episode is Terre inconnue.
- This episode introduces several «firsts» in the series:
- This is the first time Sissi has been called by her real name, Elizabeth.
- First appearance of Sector Five.
- First appearance of the Scyphozoa and Creepers.
- First appearance of the Sector Five Security Countdown.
- First appearance of Aelita’s «memory count» scene.
- This episode marks the first time a delayed virtualization is shown.
- First episode to feature both Alain le Dong and Olivier Poirette as storyboarders (production-wise for Alain).
