Подготовка волос к укладке

Напомним, что кудрявый метод заключается в особенном подходе к уходу за кудрями. Этот подход включает в себя мытье безсульфатным шампунем и увлажнение волос с помощью кондиционера и воды. Это поможет завиткам быть легкими, увлажненными и более упругими.

Расчесывать кудрявые волосы в сухом состоянии нельзя. Это важный момент, который поможет сохранять завитки в их естественном состоянии. Расчесывать их можно только в душе и только с нанесенным кондиционером. Также дополнительно можно пройтись по волосам с помощью расчески, чтобы лучше распределить средство. После этого следует максимально насытить волосы водой, не отжимая пряди.

Нанесение стайлинга

Оставив в волосах максимальное количество воды, переходим к нанесению стайлинга. Берем небольшое количестве геля, пенки или крема, растираем в руках и жамкающими движениями наносим на мокрые волосы, распределяя по всей длине.

Стайлинги с разными текстурами можно смешивать. Так, на более сухие (например, окрашенные) пряди нанесите немного крема и сверху гель, на мелкие кудряшки у висков — гель, и по всей длине также можно миксовать. Степень укладки можно контролировать с помощью средств.

Самый простой способ определить уровень пористости — вспомнить, насколько быстро волосы намокают и сохнут. Если они долго намокают и долго сохнут — это признак низкой пористости. Это значит, что кутикула ближе прилегает к стволу волоса, а значит, они более гладкие и здоровые.

«Правило при выборе стайлинга простое: чем тоньше и легче волосы, тем легче должна быть текстура стайлинга. Иначе он съест весь объём, волосы лягут.

Пенка — для самых тонких и негустых волнистых волос и нежных кудрей. Её можно использовать отдельно, а можно комбинировать с гелем, если вам не хватает фиксации.

Гель — наиболее универсальное средство фиксации завитка. Я его люблю, потому что, в отличие от мусса и крема, он даёт блеск. Гелей для кудрей существует великое множество (с протеинами, без протеинов, жёсткие и легкой фиксации). Если вам не подошёл один, это не значит, что не подойдёт другой.

Крем лучше использовать на густых, жёстких кудрях, для утяжеления афротекстур, которые могут сильно сжиматься после укладки. На тонких волосах крем может создавать эффект грязных волос».

Сушка и укладка

Самый здоровый способ сушки кудрявых волос — естественная сушка. Если все-таки времени сушить копну нет, используем фен с диффузором и сушим волосы с помощью холодного воздуха. Для получения объема наклоняем голову и держим фен перпендикулярно волосам.

Можно использовать теплый режим, но воздух не должен быть слишком горячим — следите, чтобы он не обжигал пальцы. В прикорневую зону добавляем зажимы, чтобы волосы не слишком плотно прижимались к голове.

«Волосы должны быть подсушены хотя бы на 50%. Если вы начинаете сушить ещё мокрые волосы, будет пух. Лучше набраться терпения и походить в тюрбане из микрофибрового полотенца. И лишь потом браться за фен».

После полноценной сушки, когда волосы полностью сухие, можно пожамкать их руками. Чтобы проверить высохли ли кудри, достаточно аккуратно потрогать самый толстый локон: если он сухой, есть вероятность, что и вся длина готова к тому, чтобы мы разбили корочку (каст), которая получилась после нанесения фиксирующих средств.

Для этого аккуратными жамкающими движениями проходим по длине волос, далее наклоняем голову вниз, чтобы волосы упали, и проводим пальцами у корней головы, как бы взбивая копну. Это движение придает дополнительный объем у корней.

«Три месяца назад я перешла на кудрявый метод. Несмотря на то что я пользовалась довольно дорогими брендами, мои кудрявые волосы были очень тусклыми и ломкими.

Для создания очерченных кудрей беру средства с протеинами, которые позволяют закрутиться волосам еще больше. После мытья и увлажнения локонов по кудрявому методу я наношу на мокрые волосы несмываемый кондиционер Kinky Curly и кастарды — Mane Choice Cheers Gelato, Curl Smith, гель «Так и ходи». После этого я надеваю футболку на волосы и хожу так. Футболка помогает впитать остатки геля и воды. Этот способ сушки называется плопинг. Далее беру фен Dyson и сушу им волосы вниз головой. Сначала просушиваю корни, не затрагивая волосы, после этого начинаю к ним немного притрагиваться. Сушу волосы на минимальной температуре. И после я прикасаюсь к основной длине волос с помощью диффузора».

Рефреш — обновление укладки

Создательница кудрявого метода и стилистка Лоррэн Мэсси, а также многие его поклонники рекомендуют спать на шелковых наволочках для того, чтобы наутро было меньше пуха и кудри сохранили свое состояние, как после мытья. Но все-таки рефреш не будет лишним каждый раз, когда вы касаетесь головой подушки.

Если вы помыли волосы вчера, сегодня достаточно увлажнить их обычной водой. Для начала намочите руки и, добавляя немного воды, пройдитесь по волосам, расправляя все пряди, которые выбились. После этого наберите в ладошку воды и аккуратно пройдитесь по всем прядям жамкающими движениями. После этого с помощью зажимов приподнимите волосы у корней и сушите их естественным способом или спустя 15–20 минут с помощью фена с диффузором на холодном режиме.

Если вы делаете рефреш спустя два-три дня после мытья волос, тогда в качестве дополнительного увлажнения и фиксации можно смешать с водой немного несмываемого кондиционера и нанести кастард. После того как волосы полностью высохнут, разбиваем локоны руками.

Какие средства выбирать и что искать в составе

«Прежде всего, в составе стайлинга не должно быть простых спиртов (ethanol, alcohol), которые сушат кудри. Поэтому на клиентках мы не используем для фиксации лаки.

Если вы постоянно используете бессульфатный шампунь, следите за тем, чтобы в составе стайлинговых средств не было силиконов (они оканчиваются на «con», «conol», «xane»), воска и минерального масла.

Если вы используете стайлинг только от случая к случаю, его состав не так критичен. Хорошо очистить волосы помогут шампуни глубокой очистки. Их можно использовать один раз в месяц».

Специальных средств для укладки волос по кудрявому методу на российском рынке пока очень мало. Свои продукты производят некоторые салоны, специализирующиеся на уходе за кудрями и сухой стрижке по методу Deva Cut.
